A small lakeshore farming town in Orleans County has its own permits, soils, and trees โ here's why a crew that understands the Kent/Carlton area (14477) makes the difference.
In the Town of Kent and Orleans County, work in the public right-of-way and certain protected or large trees can require permits or approvals, and removals near roadsides or the Lake Ontario shoreline may need a quick check. As a local company we confirm what applies to your address and coordinate it before work begins.
Kent's exposed Lake Ontario shoreline brings heavy lake-effect snow, strong sustained winds, and ice loading every winter. Lakeplain and clay orchard soils sit over a high water table, and the open farmland leaves trees very wind-exposed โ a tough combination for big canopies.
We know the trees across the Kent/Carlton area: EAB-killed ash, aging silver and Norway maples, and storm-loaded codominant maples on wind-exposed farm lots and shoreline roads. That experience guides every recommendation we make.
We don't just serve "Kent" in the abstract โ we cover your road and your back field, from the Lake Ontario shoreline and Kuckville to the farmland and orchards along the Route 18 corridor.

"I had three 100 foot plus trees that needed to be taken down, leaning over the towpath of the Erie Canal next to power lines and a shed and fence. I got estimates from 4 companies โ one didn't want the job. The Branch Specialists crew came in on time, assessed the situation and took all three trees down without incident in one day. Their equipment is state of the art, the crew professional and courteous. I highly recommend them."
